Avoid delays by understanding how to initiate a Pension Transfer

Transfer In: We need a Letter of Authority from you and we will need a current benefit statement from your old pension provider.  These need to be sent to us. 

Transfer Out:  Download our forms and send to your new scheme (not us!)  They will then contact us. 

What to expect after you've initiated a transfer

Transfers can take several months (average 12 weeks) so please be patient.

We will keep you informed throughout the process by email. We prefer to limit contact by telephone to exceptional circumstances.  We will also email (or write) to you to advise when a case has been completed (or is going to be closed and why).
