To add, edit or remove beneficiaries, click on the Beneficiaries button on the Your pension page.

Add a beneficiary

One of the first tasks you will need to perform is to add a beneficiary to your account. From the ‘Beneficiaries’ screen click on Add beneficiary.

From the ‘Add Beneficiares’ page complete the details for the beneficiary you want to add.

If you want to add an additional beneficiary click on + Add another beneficiary and complete their details. When you have more than one beneficiary the percentage of payment spread across each of them should total 100%.

Once you have added all the beneficiaries you need, click on Save and you will be returned to the ‘Beneficiaries’ page and will see the new details added.

Edit beneficiaries

From the ‘Beneficiaries’ page click on Edit beneficiaries.

On the Edit Beneficiaries page, amend the details for one or more of your existing beneficiaries. Remember that when you have more than one beneficiary the percentage of payment spread across each of them should total 100%.

Once you have finished click on Save and you will receive a message confirming your beneficiaries have been updated.

Removing a beneficiary

To remove beneficiaries click on Edit beneficiaries on the ‘Beneficiaries’ home page to return to ‘Edit beneficiaries’ page as shown below. You will see there is a Remove this beneficiary button for each of the existing beneficiaries.

Click on Remove this beneficiary for the beneficiary you wish to remove, you will be prompted to confirm removing the beneficiary.

You must always have at least one beneficiary assigned to your account and you will need to check the ‘Percentage of payment’ is correct for the remaining beneficiaries.
